I guess in its current form it could reasonablly be called a cock’s tail.
The original contents of the glass were, from memory, orange juice, champagne and a touch of brandy. And a strawberry and an umbrella as ornaments.
The umbrellas have always puzzled me. Though I suppose it’s important to keep the sun and the rain off your drink.
